A chai spice infusion, and I Stay zen
This chai spice creation delights all masala chai lovers as it captures the flavours of a spiced tea without the caffeine! A pleasure enjoyed at any time, from morning to evening. Just ½ tsp of this spice blend in a cup of hot water is enough for an infusion ready to be savoured. The cinnamon and cardamom naturally soften this comforting drink, which is warming in winter and refreshing in summer. Chai spices are also versatile in cooking and baking: in syrups, pies, ice creams, cakes, on fruit salads, or compotes—according to your desires. In India, these flavours are known as masala chai, or spiced tea, the most popular national beverage found everywhere in the streets. Each person holds their secret recipe prepared with Indian black tea, a blend of spices, milk, and sugar. With harmoniously spiced flavours, a cup of this cosy drink warms you from the inside and relaxes you as much as an Ayurvedic massage.
Origin
Sourced from single farms
Each of the spices in this creation comes from unique farms. In Sri Lanka, Saliya harvests the precious bark of cinnamon trees to produce Ceylon cinnamon with floral notes. Further north, Dhammi has been passionate about spices since he healed himself through Ayurveda. His ginger, with a slightly lemony taste, comes from pristine land an hour and a half from Kandy. Nutmeg trees are also part of his forest-garden domain. In southern India, in Kerala, Jose has dedicated his life to harvesting natural spices that grow in harmony. Cardamom is carefully hand-picked there. Near the border with Tamil Nadu, Annu tends to wild clove trees. In Karnataka, Abhishek harvests his pepper from the famous Malabar Coast, known since ancient times for its quality spice
About farmers
We often don’t know the origin of what’s on our plate, which is why it’s important to meet the spice producers directly. On their farms, you not only discover their rare spices but also the special care they give to nature. These are terroir heroes who pass on their passion from generation to generation and live off their land. Committed to quality products, they respect nature and their health by naturally cultivating spices, vegetables, fruits, medicinal herbs, rhizomes, tea, coffee, rice, and more.
