Origin
Sourced from single farms
In Switzerland, India, and Spain, we’ve discovered passionate producers and unique terroirs to create our spice blend for salad dressings. In Switzerland, summer savoury and oregano thrive in the natural and wild setting of the Alps, benefiting from the ideal conditions offered by this preserved environment. In Northern India, Sunny cultivates his turmeric rhizomes on the remote lands of the last Asiatic lions. This exceptional turmeric comes from the isolated regions of Gujarat, thousands of kilometres away from India’s major cities. Further west, in the state of Rajasthan, Dinesh cultivates fenugreek, black mustard, and coriander using natural farming methods. In Spain, Pepe employs respectful agricultural practices, using advanced irrigation techniques like water recycling and drip irrigation. Annu and Joseph, located in the tropical region of Kerala, cultivate high-altitude white pepper and practice zero-waste farming.
About the farmers
After travelling part of the world in search of exceptional spices, we’ve discovered true terroir heroes, with inspiring agricultural methods that are gentle on the planet. These passionate producers grow their spices in wild and preserved environments, deeply respecting nature, which provides them with its aromatic treasures. Each encounter introduced us to individuals in perfect harmony with their surroundings. Some perform spiritual rituals to purify the air and soil, while others observe the animals on their land with fascination. Their commitment to sustainable and biodiversity-respecting agriculture is evident in all their actions.
